The Welsh male voice choir is a Welsh institution, associated with the coal mining communities of South Wales.

The village of Tonna is situated at the foot of the Neath Valley, 1 mile from Neath and 9 miles from Swansea. Initiated from a weekly sing-along at the Railway Tavern, Aberdulais, Tonna Male Voice Choir (TMVC) was born in 1968, rapidly gained members, and became a feature of Tonna and its wider community of Neath.

TMVC enjoys a busy calendar of performances and concerts which are always well attended, working with local charities and organisations, has a great musical team and meets on Monday evenings in Tonna Primary School from 7pm to 9pm.
